Indonesia: The 213 million people of the Republic of Indonesia are scattered over a 926,500 square mile archipelago, encompassing 17,000 islands—4,000 of which are inhabited. The majority of Indonesians are rural peasants representing hundreds of different ethnic groups, cultural practices and languages.

Indonesia Administration
Your gift helps fund all of the administrative activities necessary to keep missionaries on the field in Indonesia, facilitate their ministries and provide for research and planning for their ministries and new opportunities. It provides for the necessities that enable workers to be in position for service with tools ready to do the work.



Indonesia Donna Meyer Support
Donna Meyer serves the LCMS as a long-term volunteer in Indonesia. She works with Indonesian junior high school teachers, helping them improve their English teaching. Your gift helps Donna share the Good News about Jesus with these teachers.



Indonesia Fungchatou and Kalia Lo Support
Fungchatou and Kalia Lo serve the Lord in Indonesia, where they work in partnership with LCMS World Relief and Human Care to care for the people in Banda Aceh by helping meet their basic needs in the areas of housing, economic development, social welfare and education.



Indonesia Going Support
Tom and Debi Going serve in Indonesia, where more than 85 percent of the population identify themselves as Muslim. Tom works as an international educator at Sekola Pelita Harapan, which means School of The Light of Hope (SPH). You gift enables them to share God’s love with many students and families from SPH.



Indonesia Hedemann Support
Your gift will help Phil and Carolyn (Carrie) Hedemann serve the Lord in Indonesia as international educators. Phil teaches seventh grade math and science at Sekolah Pelita Harapan (School of Light and Hope), Lippo Karawaci Campus. Carrie teaches English to second and third graders at Springfield Academy in Jakarta. She is also coordinator of all primary school teachers and classes at the school. Phil and Carrie share their faith in word and deed.



Indonesia Myers Support
Matthew and Kimberly Myers serve the Lord as international educators in Indonesia. Matt and Kim teach at Universitas Pelita Harapan (University of Light and Hope), a school of 8,000 students in the Jakarta area. They previously served with LCMS World Mission in Southeast Asia from 1998 to 2006. You can help them now in Indonesia.



Indonesia Semler Support
Give a gift and your blessing to help Eric and Karin Semler serve the Lord in Indonesia, the world's fourth most populous country. Eric teaches humanities and other subjects at the Cikarang Campus of Sokolah Pelita Harapan (School of Light and Hope) and Karin writes publications for LCMS World Mission. Both Eric and Karin have extensive international experience, including service as LCMS volunteer missionaries in Japan, where they met.

Indonesia Van Luchene Support
Darrell and Sue Van Luchene serve in Indonesia, where they work for the Sekolah Pelita Harapan Foundation Christian schools. Darrell works to lead foundation schools in academic improvement, provides advice on future expansion of campuses, and is system coordinator over four campuses. He also serves as team coordinator for the LCMS teachers assigned to foundation schools and universities. Sue works in four foundation schools, one as curriculum coordinator, one as accreditation coordinator, and as the teacher trainer and curriculum coordinator for two other campuses. Indonesia Weider Support
Mike and Sarah Weider serve as LCMS international educators at Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) in Jakarta, Indonesia. SPH is a Christian international school with students from many countries around the world. Mike is the international baccalaureate coordinator and religion teacher, and Sarah serves as a school counselor. The Weiders also assist with worship in house churches and lead chapel and Bible studies for students.
