Taiwan: Located just under 100 miles from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan is home to 22.4 million people. This island nation of 13,900 square miles is one of the most densely populated countries in the world: 1,500 persons per square mile. Only about six percent of the people are Christians.

Dubert Taiwan Support Raymond and Emilie Dubert serves the Lord as GEO missionaries in Chiayi, Taiwan. They teach English as a Foreign Language and build relationships with their students at Concordia Middle School in order to be a witness of Christ�s love. Raymond and Emilie also lead Bible studies and participate in various ministries together with the team of missionaries serving in Taiwan, as well as the local partner congregations and their members.

Greater China Region China Lutheran Seminary Taiwan China Lutheran Seminary (CLS) is the only Lutheran Seminary in the Greater China region that does all its instruction in Mandarin Chinese--the most commonly spoken dialect in the Chinese world. Local national pastors, missionaries, adjunct professors and guest lecturers have together been a formative influence on the theology of the school, maintaining a high view of Scripture with a solid Lutheran understanding. Greater China Region VYM Taiwan Teaching English as a vehicle for communicating the Gospel is a key component of LCMS World Mission strategy in Asia. English language study is compulsory in Taiwan's public schools. The Volunteer Youth Ministry (VYM) program has a long and successful history in LCMS mission to Chinese people. Volunteers contribute toward their own expenses, but LCMS World Mission pays for training, support staff and all kinds of materials. Here is your opportunity to help.

Taiwan Fick Support Matthew Fick serves the Lord in Taiwan as a GEO missionary. His responsibilities include teaching English at the kindergarten and elementary school level, leading Bible studies, and helping with local ministry in other ways. Your financial support helps Matthew to reach the young people of Taiwan and their families with the Gospel.

Taiwan Foley Support Kevin Foley serves the Lord as a GEO missionary on Taiwan, where he teaches religion and English as a Second Language to junior and senior high students at Concordia Middle School. His ministry also includes working with local churches of the China Evangelical Lutheran Church (CELC) of Taiwan, a partner church of the LCMS.

Taiwan Greimann Support Heidi Greimann serves the Lord in Taiwan as a GEO missionary. She teaches English as a Foreign Language (EFL) at Concordia English Language Academy (CELA) in Chia Yi. She shows students Jesus' love for them in and out of the classroom.

Taiwan House Support Rebekah House serves the Lord as a long-term missionary in Taiwan, where she teaches English at Concordia English Language Academy in Chia Yi and participates in other activities, enabling her to build relationships with students and share the Gospel with them and their families. Your financial support will help Rebekah share God�s love with her Taiwanese students and their families.

Taiwan Meyer Support Anna Meyer serves the Lord as an LCMS GEO missionary on Taiwan, where she is an English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) teacher for kindergarten and third grade classes. Anna also is involved with Bible studies and other ministries offered through a Taiwanese Lutheran church in the area.

Taiwan Oliver Support Pastor Stephen Oliver serves as a professor of Old Testament at China Lutheran Seminary in Hsinchu, Taiwan. China Lutheran Seminary (CLS) is the only Lutheran Seminary in the Greater China region which does all its instruction in Mandarin Chinese--the most commonly spoken dialect throughout the Chinese world. Taiwan Riley Support Ben and Amy (Byer) Riley serve as long-term missionaries in Chai Yi, Taiwan, where they teach English as a Foreign Language at Concordia English Language Academy. Long-term missionaries teach a language arts curriculum which includes phonics, writing, reading, and Bible. By supporting the Rileys, you help them share Jesus� love with their students and others in Taiwan.

Taiwan Roegner Support Stephanie Roegner serves the Lord in Taiwan, where she works as an English teacher at Concordia English Language Academy elementary school. Taiwan Wasmund Support Matthew and Rebecca (Dee Dee) Wasmund serve as volunteer missionaries in Taiwan. Dee Dee teaches kindergarten English and Bible classes at Concordia English Academy. Matthew serves as the island's interim volunteer ministries coordinator. Taiwan Wolfram Support Mark Wolfram serves as a GEO missionary on Taiwan, where he teaches English as a Second Language at Concordia Middle School in Chia Yi, Taiwan. The school is a junior and senior high school. Mark also works with members of a Taiwanese Lutheran church to help build relationships and implement programs.
