Kyrgyzstan: LCMS World Mission began work in Kyrgyzstan in 1998. LCMS mission provides theological education for the leaders of the German house churches as well as for new Kyrgyz Christians who want to serve in the Kyrgyz Lutheran church. The mission works in both the Russian and Kyrgyz languages.

Kyrgyzstan Bishkek Evangelism
As the largest and capital city in the country of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek needs to have a mission-minded, living and outreaching congregation to reach the nearly one million people without Christ and serve as the center for outreach to the villages of the nation. This will happen primarily through the training of pastors, other leaders and evangelists. Of course, many other direct methods will be employed, but your gift helps make them all happen!

Kyrgyzstan Business Office
The business office serves Lutheran Church Concordia, Missionary Center Unity and Concord, and the Social Charity Fund Compassion. The office is a vital nerve center and heart for the ongoing success of church planting, leadership formation and medical missions. Everything stops without it. Your gift helps provide translators, diaconal workers, accountants, program directors support staff, missionary visas, transportation and other logistical support.

Kyrgyzstan Rural Evangelism
Many villages in Kyrgyzstan are Christ-less and churchless. Church planting is needed to bring Christ to empty hearts and homes. Pre-evangelism contacts are made through programs like Mobile Medical Trailer, Eyeglass Clinic, Teaching English, Healthy Moms, and Humanitarian Aid. Then visits are made by evangelists. Bible study and catechism study soon follow in the home of a receptive villager. Eventually, because of your gift newly confirmed members start a new church in that village.
