Giving Opportunities

Slovakia: LCMS World Mission began work in Slovakia in 1991 when partnerships were established to provide LCMS volunteer missionaries to share the Gospel in church-related schools and many other outreach and leadership training services. The LCMS also helps the Lutheran church in Slovakia reach out to Gypsies.

European Volunteer Support Your gift provides the resources to help volunteer missionaries in Europe with such events as retreats, visits and guest visitors. You will help reach about 2,000 youth and 200 national staff with the Gospel. Volunteer missionaries, working as EFL teachers in select Lutheran Schools as well in certain congregations, provide a strong Christian witness to the youth in the region.

Slovakia Davis Support A.J. Davis serves as a GEO missionary through LCMS World Mission in Presov, Slovakia. He teaches English-as-a-Foreign-Language classes through a local Lutheran congregation and school as an outreach to non-Christians in the community. He also helps to lead and coordinate activities such as Bible studies and youth group. Your support allows A.J. to share the Gospel and build up young disciples in the Slovak Lutheran church.

Slovakia Fiala Support David and Radka Fiala serve the Lord in Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. They teach English as a Second Language, lead and mentor the youth in Bible studies and service projects, and supervise other long-term missionaries. You can support David and Radka in proclaiming the Gospel by sending a gift today.

Slovakia Richter Support Eric Richter serves the Lord as a GEO missionary in Tisovec, Slovakia, where he teaches English and religion classes at Evanjelicke Gymnazium Tisovec (EGT), a Lutheran high school. Eric also builds relationships with EGT students by helping with extracurricular activities like leading Bible studies and coaching sports teams. Your support will help Eric continue sharing the Gospel with his students in Slovakia.
