Sudan: Africa’s largest country...1.5 million square miles and 29.5 million people...has been at war with itself for 17 years. LCMS work in Sudan began in 1998 when Sudanese refugees living in western Iowa asked the LCMS to start evangelistic and development work in their war-torn homeland.

Sudan Chapel Roofs
Chapel roof projects help congregations complete their chapels with durable and long lasting roofs. Your gift supplies the roofing materials, while the local congregation supplies materials for the walls and labor for construction. Your gift shows your concern for new younger congregations and helps spark a lot of excitement in new believers. New preaching stations are opening and more chapels will be built as the church continues to grow.
