Uganda: The Lutheran Church Mission in Uganda was established in 1994, after an evangelist from Ghana was invited to begin work there since there were no Lutheran pastors. Missionary Solomon Ayagri and his family serve in western Uganda. Three Ugandan pastors were ordained after completing their training at the seminary in Ghana.

Uganda Gillard Support
You can provide crucial support for Rev. Jake and Michelle Gillard as they serve the Lord in Uganda, where they work with the LCMS partner church, the Lutheran Church Mission Uganda. This youthful and energetic church body is only 13 years old, and in that short time, it has grown to 56 congregations. The Gillards help train, disciple, and walk alongside the developing leaders in this church body. Support the Gillards today with your gift and help the Lord raise up laborers to serve His people in Uganda.

Uganda Leadership Training
The Lutheran Church in Uganda is very young and there are only three ordained pastors. They work at six Mission Training Centers and many churches in those areas. Because the church is so young, the people have not learned to support their pastors. Your gifts are needed to build the Mission Training Centers, provide materials and help support the leaders in a small way. The Mission Training Centers are located in Busia, Masindi, Mbarara, Jinja, Lira and Kamala.

Uganda Missionary Ayagri
Evangelist Solomon Ayagri is a Ghanaian missionary serving in Uganda. His work started there before there were any ordained pastors and he continues to do excellent work as an evangelist, planting new churches and training leaders. Because he is from another country, he needs your gifts to continue his work effectively.

Uganda Trump Support
Shauen and Krista (Krenzke) Trump serve as LCMS missionaries in Uganda, where Shauen is completing his two-year vicarage. The Trumps work with the Lutheran Church Mission Uganda (LCMU), a youthful and energetic church body that is 13 years old. Your gift allows Shauen and Krista to work alongside the believers in the LCMU to spread the light of Christ throughout Uganda.
